Speedo removel astra H

Do i need to disconnect battery before i remove speedo for led conversion.

hi mate,
just finished most of my conversion, i did not remove the battery, just dont put the key in the ignition with the clocks unplugged from the car/loom. have you done your radio yet and what year is your car?
